SIS Members in reach of Tuscany will want to head straight to the former Institute and Museum of the History of Science of Florence which has undergone a renovation involving a complete redesign of its exhibition areas and displays. It reopened on June 11, 2010 under the new name of Museo Galileo. You can still see the great man's telescope, but also assorted body parts which were removed from his tomb and recently rediscovered.
